Tutu Tuesday in Vacaville, California: A Whirlwind of Tutu Styles Hey dance lovers, it's your girl, Chloe, back with another Tutu Tuesday! Today, I'm bringing the #tututuesday magic right to Vacaville, California, and oh my gosh, let me tell you, it was a tutu explosion!
I hit up the streets of Vacaville with my camera, ready to document every tutu-wearing trend in sight. You guys know I'm all about celebrating the artistry and joy of ballet, and Tutu Tuesday is the perfect excuse to do just that.
My first stop was the adorable "Twirl and Swirl" dance studio, where I caught a bunch of little ballerinas in their tiny tutus, just bursting with excitement. Let me tell you, seeing those tiny dancers twirling around, with their tiny pink shoes, and their tiny, little smiles, just melted my heart. There were classic "Romantic" tutus, soft and billowing, perfect for swirling and leaping, but I also saw a few funky modern "Tutu" looks that I absolutely loved.
Later, I ventured over to the bustling downtown area, where I saw a couple of grown-up ladies sporting stylish tutus. One was a lovely mom rocking a "Bell" tutu in a bold shade of cobalt blue – she was a total vision! Her tutu had lots of layers of ruffles and a full skirt, it made her feel like a glamorous ballerina in a grand performance. The other was a trendy gal in a super chic "Modern" tutu, with its sleek lines and simple design. It matched her minimalist style perfectly, making her look effortlessly elegant.
But, the absolute highlight of my day had to be the Tutu Tuesday gathering at Vacaville’s beautiful city park. People of all ages were there – young, old, in between. You could really feel the love for ballet buzzing in the air! I met a grandma in a tutu, a dad with a tutu, kids in tutus, everyone was decked out in tutus, and even a dog was wearing one – now that's what I call commitment to Tutu Tuesday! There were so many styles there, the classic, romantic "Romantic" tutu , a more modern "Tutu" look, with shorter layers of mesh that flowed with every pirouette. The "Bell" tutu with a wide flared design was everywhere, and the super sparkly “Costume” tutus looked like something right out of a grand ballet.
I think this year’s Tutu Tuesday in Vacaville has truly brought the city alive, it really highlights what an amazing, vibrant and fun community we have here in Vacaville. It’s a city that embraces creativity and the joy of movement, which really is what makes it a fantastic place to be, it really puts it all in motion.
