Tutu Tuesday in Lewisville, Texas: A Celebration of Dance and Style
Hey everyone! It’s your girl, Chloe, here, and today’s blog post is all about spreading the Tutu Tuesday love! I can't believe it’s already #Tututuesday in Lewisville, Texas! It’s a beautiful day to celebrate the magic of dance and the amazing fashion that comes with it! And you know I had to do a post for my beloved #tututuesday community, especially here in the great state of Texas. Let’s jump right into the amazing tutus you all wore!
We had so many stunning looks at the Lewisville Performing Arts Center! There were the classic romantic tutus with all the layers of tulle for that full-bodied, graceful look, perfect for Swan Lake and Giselle! I saw some beautiful examples with layers and layers of ivory, pink, and light blue. Some with ribbons for that extra sparkle, and some tutus with soft floral accents. Then we had the more modern and contemporary tutus that showcased a minimal amount of tulle or incorporated different materials, perfect for contemporary ballet, which I love to dance in. You girls totally rocked it!
Then there were the amazing tutus I saw throughout Lewisville today, from the Ballet Academy to the mall and coffee shops - everywhere, you gals had a fun flair. From vibrant purple and red tutus worn by our little ballerinas who were absolutely precious! They brought joy to my heart! To the girls at the dance studios who looked elegant and ready to hit the dance floor! To those of you just having a fun day rocking your tutus. You were so fabulous!
Now, here’s the thing, with all the different kinds of tutus out there, let's break down how you can rock a tutu to express your own personal style. There is a tutu for everyone. It doesn't have to be for just dancers!
The Glam Goddess Tutu
- Let's talk sparkle and shine! A perfect #tututuesday look requires lots of sparkle and maybe some sequins, metallic accents. A little bit of glam for the Goddess look! You can dress it up with a sparkling tutu or find one that already has some shimmering elements! Then complete the look with sparkling earrings and a touch of shimmery eyeshadow!
- Remember to use your glam to accentuate, don’t go overboard. It's about being elegant and refined! Think about where you are going and how much bling to showcase. Don't be afraid to get a bit extravagant if you are going to a night party or to the ballet.

- We can’t forget the graceful classical tutu looks - and Lewisville you all did a great job at it! To really embody the classic ballerina spirit. Wear it with a simple white blouse or sweatshirt for that comfy yet elegant feel.
- Consider pairing a classic tutu with sleek ballerina shoes and minimal jewelry - It will enhance the classical elegance of the ballerina outfit. And be sure to rock a cute hairdo!
