As an Aussie ballerina currently twirling my way through the Parisian ballet scene, I find myself absolutely captivated by the grace and beauty of French ballet.
While in Évreux, I'm living my best life – exploring the charming cobbled streets, discovering hidden boulangeries (oh my goodness, the croissants!), and enjoying a dose of Parisian chic. This region, after all, has a vibrant and thriving ballet culture, steeped in tradition and steeped in passion. I'm learning all about the exquisite pointe shoes (apparently they're a bit more pointy here), the intricate choreography, and the sheer dedication of the local ballet dancers – it's truly inspiring!
And you know what's the perfect way to pay homage to this vibrant ballet heritage? Why, a Tutu Tuesday, of course! Today I'm rocking a romantic, tulle-infused creation in the softest shades of pastel pink. It's all about flowing movement and ethereal vibes – perfect for a morning spent in the sunshine, and it’s not hard to feel like a prima ballerina when the French light makes you look absolutely divine.
