Tutu Tuesday in Le Plessis-Trévise, Île-de-France, France: A Parisian Ballet Adventure! #tututuesday

G'day lovelies! This week I'm in the gorgeous city of Paris, a place that practically screams "ballet!" As an Aussie dancer living in this fabulous city, I just have to get involved in the vibrant French ballet scene. Today, however, is all about embracing my inner ballerina on #tututuesday.

After strolling past the stunning architecture of Le Plessis-Trévise, my quest for a perfect #tututuesday ensemble led me to a boutique brimming with tulle and satin, an absolute haven for any ballerina. The variety was unreal - from classic romantic tutus with their billowing layers, to the sleek, modern, contemporary style that is trending right now.

I, of course, went for a classic, because it is #tututuesday and gotta stay true to the day. And this is Paris, after all! Think a perfect cloud of white tulle with layers of frills, sparkling embellishments, and that delicate whisper of pink just peeping through, evoking a soft romance, you know, just the perfect amount of sparkle and elegance for a Parisian afternoon.

Once my outfit was sorted, I decided to embrace the Parisian charm by heading to the renowned **Ballet de l'Opera National de Paris**. Talk about history and heritage! The very building itself is a marvel of design, a magnificent backdrop for some seriously graceful dancing.

It's fascinating to experience ballet here in France. I've found that there's a definite Parisian aesthetic that sets it apart, a blend of precision and passion that just makes your heart skip a beat. This is the heart of ballet, a magical, mesmerizing art form, that feels so different than Australia.

But I couldn't just admire the Parisian ballet scene. #tututuesday required I take it further. I decided to take a cheeky little spin in the Jardin des Plantes. I found a quiet, serene spot beneath a graceful oak tree, tucked away from the crowds, and embraced my inner tutu twirling princess.

After all, what is a #tututuesday without some twirls? Just picture a perfect ballerina's pirouette beneath a clear sky with the sound of gentle chirping from the birds and the wind ruffling my tulle. Pure bliss!

Here's what my Parisian ballet day has taught me:

  • Paris is a city that breathes ballet, every step a pirouette.
  • Sometimes, all it takes is a little twirl to remind yourself that life is beautiful.
  • A tutu and a garden are the perfect match for any #tututuesday.

Now that I've spent an absolutely perfect #tututuesday in Paris, I'm going to enjoy a Parisian dinner - steak frites, because every good ballet day needs a well-deserved carb fix, you know how it is! If you are in the City of Lights, you have to take a #tututuesday dance step!
