Tutu Tuesday in Vitry-le-François, Grand Est, France: A Parisian Ballet Adventure

G'day lovelies! It's your gal, Chloe, here, reporting live from the charming town of Vitry-le-François, nestled in the Grand Est region of France. And guess what? It's Tutu Tuesday! I know, right? I just had to celebrate the beauty of ballet in this gorgeous European setting.

So, imagine my delight when I discovered that Vitry-le-François has a thriving ballet scene! The ballet company, École de Danse de Vitry-le-François, offers a whole heap of classes and workshops for all ages and abilities, from the little munchkins to seasoned veterans. And, what's even better? They also have a gorgeous repertoire of ballets and performances. You know I was dying to check them out!

It was a bit of a struggle to choose which style of tutu I was going to wear, but with my usual flair, I opted for a **romantic tutu**. You know, the one that kind of swishes about when you twirl. Perfect for catching the French eye, right? The pale pink fabric and the fluffy layers of tulle - divine! I felt like a fairytale princess!

For a Parisian twist, I added some **lace gloves** and a tiny, cute, little **black beret** - just because it's chic and all that, you know. It wouldn't be a French Tutu Tuesday without a little dose of Parisian fashion. But don't get me wrong - you could also try out a **classic, layered, traditional tutu** like the one they wear in Swan Lake or some sassy, **short, whimsical** tutu for a modern edge. It's all about feeling good and rocking that tutu. You do you!

Anyway, after taking a selfie in front of the famous *La Basilique Saint-Remi* in Vitry-le-François - don't tell anyone I went full-on tourist mode but it made for a *beautiful backdrop*, don't you think? I met some local ballerinas for a bit of impromptu, tutu-clad practice. We even learned some French steps from each other - they were all so excited to show off their artistry!

I learnt a bit about the **French Ballet** scene while I was there. Apparently, it has a *rich* and *inspiring history* that really reflects the creativity and energy of this incredible country. There were so many talented dancers! They had such elegance and passion, they left me in awe.

So, this Tutu Tuesday has been an absolutely beautiful journey. Vitry-le-François really surprised me. The town is quaint and peaceful with this charming historic touch, but I'll tell you one thing, it definitely had a "tutu-tiful" ballet scene. And now that I’m back in my comfy little Parisian studio, I can't help but feel so inspired. I guess Tutu Tuesdays have a way of doing that!

Speaking of inspiration, let me give you a little challenge - I dare you to rock your own Tutu Tuesday, no matter where you are! Share your photos with #tututuesday, #vitrylefrancois, and #grandest. Don’t forget to mention #chloesballetblog in your insta-posts because I'll be giving away some cute tutus to some of you amazing peeps.

I'm off to find my next tutu adventure! And you never know where it will take me! I might end up right in your city - you just might need to watch out for the Tutu Queen. Au revoir, mon amis! Until next time!
