Tutu Tuesday in Gournay-sur-Marne, ÃŽle-de-France, France #tututuesday G'day, lovelies! It's your favourite Aussie ballerina, Amelia, bringing you all the latest from the world of dance – and of course, Tutu Tuesday. Today, I'm venturing out of the studio and into the streets of Gournay-sur-Marne, a charming suburb of Paris, to see how tutu-mania is spreading in France! France, as you know, has an incredible ballet legacy. From the elegance of the Paris Opera Ballet to the vibrant contemporary scenes popping up all over the country, this place has dance running through its veins. And as a ballerina myself, I’m absolutely captivated by how it’s embraced by everyday life here. A Stroll Through Gournay-sur-Marne I'm loving my morning walk around this picturesque little town. Cobblestone streets, quaint cafes, and a sense of calm serenity – the French way of life is pretty damn delightful! Gournay-sur-Marne isn’t known for its huge ballet scene, but you’d be surprised by what I found! This little town has a dance studio called 'Les Ballerines,' and I’m planning to pop in later for a chat. But right now, I'm simply taking it all in – the sights, sounds, and, of course, the fashion! And it was right here, as I strolled through the town square, that I realised something. I mean, this isn't just any town square. This one has something rather special... it has a **tutu** vibe! A Tutuscape Emerges! Look, I’m not exaggerating here, every other person in the square was rocking some kind of **tutu-inspired outfit!** This little suburb, nestled near the Seine, is not just a quiet place, it's a playground of fashion. * **Tutus Galore**: I spied everything from full-on tulle tutus to little hints of ballerina style – floaty chiffon skirts, sparkly dresses with a tulle overlay, and even a pair of chic sneakers with a touch of pink, giving that unmistakable tutu-like vibe. * **Modern Day Ballet Bun**: The hair game in Gournay-sur-Marne is strong too. While some had perfectly crafted buns, many embraced the effortless 'messy bun', a classic look that, I think, nailed the ballerina style without trying. * **Effortless Grace in Everyday Chic**: It was simply inspiring. From the young school girls bouncing around, embracing their inner ballerina, to the sophisticated ladies in their long tulle skirts paired with casual tops, it felt like everyone was expressing a little bit of "tutu spirit" - whether they knew it or not. Tutu Tuesday Makes it Way to France Right then, I thought - why not make Tutu Tuesday more global, right? Look, this town wasn't on any map I had - but here it is! Gournay-sur-Marne! My new favourite spot for finding that incredible French style with a hint of Tutu Tuesday. It just goes to show you - you never know where you'll find some serious style inspiration, do you? But enough about me, what about you? Are you planning your own #tututuesday adventure? Where are you rocking your tutu this week? If you're not yet, don’t fret! Go find a skirt or a piece of clothing with a tulle or even a ribbon detail! Rock it like you own it, you fashion-loving queen! As I make my way towards "Les Ballerines", I’ll tell you about the studio in my next post. I can’t wait to tell you more about ballet in France – the beautiful costumes, the inspiring dancers, and most importantly, the tutus. Ciao for now, darlings! Don’t forget to send me your photos rocking those amazing tutus, you beauties! You know you want to show the world how incredible you look. * #tututuesday #tutustyle #frenchstyle #gournaysurmarne #iledefrance #parisianchic #balletlife #balletlover
