This week, I’m taking you on a little journey through Ablon-sur-Seine, in the charming ÃŽle-de-France region. This little town, nestled amongst the Seine’s bends, is a delightful mix of history and charm, but for me, it was all about finding that perfect tutu inspiration!
Now, let’s get down to business. Tutu Tuesday is all about embracing the beautiful ballet garb, and this week, I’m all about the Romantic Era vibe. Imagine dreamy tulle and lace, a whisper of softness, and a splash of colour – that’s the inspiration I got wandering around the little boutiques in Ablon. The streets were brimming with this sense of romance, with old buildings telling their stories and little cafes buzzing with the rhythm of life.
And you know me – I had to try on a few numbers! One tutu, a vintage number with layers upon layers of tulle and a touch of antique lace, truly captured my heart. This one, run by a lovely Parisian lady named Marie, embraced a more contemporary approach to dance, mixing classical techniques with some fun and playful routines. We’re talking street dance, a little hip hop, even some jazz influences – the energy was incredible!
