Albury, New South Wales, tutu Tuesday, #tututuesday Okay, Albury, I’m here to chat tutus – and trust me, you're in for a treat. It's Tuesday, the day that gets everyone dancing to their own tune, and that definitely includes my fellow twirlers, especially here in the gorgeous Snowy Mountains region. You know I live for my tutus – every single day is a potential tutu day. But there's something special about #tututuesday, it's like the whole world says, “Go on then, wear your fabulous tutus!” The amazing thing about tutus? They’re totally versatile, even if they don't see much use out here in Albury, we get our fair share of dance competitions, Recitals and the odd Opera or theatre production to wear them in. You can make them absolutely anything – glamorous, whimsical, romantic, even sassy, the possibilities are endless. And believe me, it's always about those possibilities here in Albury! This vibrant city has an incredible cultural scene, with a bustling dance scene. Whether it's classical ballet, contemporary or the more informal Jazz and tap classes I go to with my friends. Tutu Tuesday gives us all the opportunity to let our love for dance shine. I absolutely love the diversity in the world of tutu styles. There are classics like the **Romantic tutu**. That billowing cloud of tulle is timeless, romantic and elegant. Then there’s the **bell-shaped, or soiree, tutu**. They're shorter and give a little more movement to your performance. But you know me, I love to push boundaries. My absolute fave? The **'package' tutu**, its modern construction with the layering of a short-structured skirt and longer tulle, a mix of edgy and classic. There's even the **‘double’ tutu**. With two tiers – it’s basically a double whammy of fluffy fabulousness. Perfect for a night out or any showstopping performance! But let’s talk tutu inspiration, because it's not just about the style, it’s the energy and attitude! Albury's filled with creatives and artists, but the true dance fans come from the lovely regional towns nearby – it's such an inspiration. It’s one thing seeing your favourite dancers in a classical setting – but out here, it’s all about connecting with the people, getting real inspiration and finding new ways to play with tutus and dance styles. You can even wear it on a picnic. It's all about freedom, and this is the ultimate way to unleash your inner dancer! To all my #tututuesday buddies, here’s my call to action: wear that tutu with confidence and embrace the joy! Whether it’s in Albury or anywhere else – don’t forget, you’re never too old to twirl, dance or show off a stunning tutu! #tututuesday, let's do this! And remember, this is more than just about ballet in Australia - this is about unleashing your own creativity and embracing your passion for all things tutu.
