Tutu Tuesday in Bathurst, New South Wales

It’s your girl, Eliza here, and it’s time to unleash the ballerina within! Today we’re heading to Bathurst, a town in the heart of NSW, and exploring Tutu Tuesday’s fabulousness.
For those new to the tutu game, #Tututuesday is basically the biggest celebration of everything ballet (and by everything, I mean the tutus!). Each Tuesday, tutus, ballet shoes, and all things dance become a dazzling part of our everyday style.
Now, here’s the real beauty of it: Bathurst has absolutely embraced the movement. Walking down the main streets, you’ll see people rocking those tulle masterpieces! You can spot everything from romantic classics – a la Swan Lake – to modern, fierce styles that will knock your socks off (figuratively, because who wears socks with a tutu, right?)
It's such a fun way to showcase our love for ballet and to inspire people to try something new. Even if it’s just for a day!
What makes it even more spectacular is how this tiny town is making waves in the Australian ballet scene! Forget Sydney and Melbourne, Bathurst is setting its own stage with this delightful trend! The local community is so enthusiastic - you can feel the magic as soon as you set foot here! And when I say enthusiastic, I mean everyone's getting in on the tutu action! From office workers to stay-at-home mums, grandmas to uni students, we're all showing off our inner ballerina.

- The Modern tutu - For you fashion-forward dance lovers, you need to embrace the bold world of modern tutus. Forget the dainty style, these tutus have edge and flair - you might even find one in an unexpected colour, like a fierce, fiery red! Or an avant-garde black and white combo!
- The casual tutu- You don’t need to be hitting the stage to rock a tutu! Bathurst girls are proving this all the time, rocking them with comfy jeans or chic pants! So why not join in and rock a comfy but cool look!

I love that tutu Tuesday is inspiring women (and men!) of all ages.
