Tutu Tuesday in Nambucca Heads, New South Wales #tututuesday Alright, my fellow tutu lovers! You know how much I love a good Tutu Tuesday, right? It’s my favourite day of the week because it’s all about celebrating the joy of twirling and the magic of those frothy, fabulous creations we call tutus. This week, I decided to venture a bit further afield from the usual bustling city streets and head to the beautiful, relaxed beachside town of Nambucca Heads in New South Wales. I just had to see what this magical little slice of Aussie paradise was all about, tutu and all, for our #tututuesday celebrations. So, here’s the thing, Nambucca Heads is a real gem, a hidden treasure with lush green hinterland views, a shimmering blue river running into the sparkling ocean, and enough sunshine to make you forget all your worries. The Vibe is Just So Chill First things first, this place is laid back. The energy is calm and mellow, which was perfect for my tutu-filled day out. As I wandered down the main street, I noticed a little shop called "Coastal Bloom." This shop had such a cute, cottage-style vibe with so many delightful trinkets and decorations - definitely a must-visit if you're ever in town. Now, let's talk about the real stars of the show: the tutus! You know, it was kind of tricky finding the perfect spot to do a little tutu twirl because everything just screamed beach vibes. It felt like the whole place was saying, "Hey, relax, let your hair down and embrace the moment!” Tutu Choices - Romantic & Bold And that's what I did, embraced the moment, with a slightly more flamboyant take on relaxation. I’m sporting a romantic, flowing tulle tutu in the most gorgeous shade of aqua. I felt like a real-life mermaid who’d stepped out of a storybook and onto the sandy shores of Nambucca. The lightweight fabric flowed so beautifully, and I practically felt like I was gliding over the pavement instead of walking. But for some of you out there, you might be thinking, "Aqua is a little too delicate for a beach day.” You need something bold, right? No worries! If you're after a bolder look for #tututuesday, there are always those gorgeous, full-bodied tutus that remind you of classic ballerina outfits - the ones with multiple layers of tulle that poof out dramatically, making a serious statement wherever you go. I’d love to try a dramatic tutu in vibrant colours like scarlet red or sunshine yellow with a black or white crop top. More Than Just a Tutu Day - Ballet in Australia Speaking of statement, ballet in Australia is having a bit of a moment right now. We’re seeing a lot of support and interest in ballet at the grassroots level. The world has gone wild for ballet stories, with new movies coming out, more coverage in the media, and even more folks giving ballet a go. Taking Tutu to the Next Level - The Future For me, it's super cool to be able to explore the fun and artistic side of ballet, particularly outside the traditional ballet setting. We're pushing the boundaries and letting tutu take the lead, with a little fun and flair thrown in for good measure. And who better to lead this little revolution than a girl on #tututuesday, in Nambucca Heads! As I've walked the streets today, it's obvious that even in smaller towns like this, we've got that infectious Australian love of embracing new things with a “she’ll be right” attitude. The streets of Nambucca Heads were the perfect stage to dance and explore new creative pathways - all while celebrating a love of all things tulle! So, to sum up #tututuesday, I've had an absolute ball dancing around this gorgeous coastal town! It's got such a charming vibe. From the sparkling river to the golden beaches and the incredible local cafe with its divine coffee - my #tututuesday adventure has certainly given me the motivation to do more tutu explorations of the beauty spots of Australia.
