Tutu Tuesday in Crookwell, New South Wales: A Tutu for Every Occasion

G'day from Crookwell, New South Wales, a town that's certainly got heart! It might be known for its charming country pub, and annual rodeo, but today, it's all about #Tututuesday. Because, let's face it, there's a tutu for every occasion.

Now, don't go thinking that a tutu is just for ballerinas, okay? (Though let's be honest, there's nothing quite as classic as a beautifully crafted, **white, Romantic tutu**, especially for a performance of Giselle). No, these days, a tutu can be whatever you want it to be - a sassy statement piece, a touch of whimsical elegance, or just plain old fun.

And Crookwell? Well, they're embracing this fabulous fashion trend with open arms! Today, I'm seeing a kaleidoscope of tutus: fluffy **pink tulle** for the little girls playing fairies, shimmering **gold sequins** for a touch of disco, and even a few daringly short **tutus**, all the way up to the knee. Some are worn over jeans, others with stylish maxi-dresses โ€“ proof that you don't need to be a ballerina to rock a tutu!

Now, if you're in Crookwell for this Tutu Tuesday, you're in for a treat! Let's be honest, there's nothing more inspiring than seeing everyone in our town strutting their stuff in tutus. Weโ€™re even holding a "Tutu Twirl Contest" at the Crookwell Town Hall! I'll be judging - it's not all about skill, you know. The real challenge? Is pulling off your inner confidence!

We've all seen the iconic shot of **Margot Fonteyn**, dancing with pure grace in her **layered white tutu**. Here in Crookwell, our tutus may not be part of an official ballet performance, but that doesn't mean we're not passionate about ballet. We may be a long way from the hallowed halls of the Sydney Opera House, but the love of dance is certainly alive and well in Crookwell.

But the best part about #Tututuesday? It's about the joy, the community spirit, and of course, the incredible feeling of looking utterly fabulous in a tutu. It's a chance for us all to show our true colors and celebrate that spark of whimsy we all have inside.

Here are a few of my favourite #Tututuesday looks:

  • Little Daisy, rocking a **sparkly blue tutu** and a giant, sparkly fairy wand, totally ready for a spot on the Sydney Ballet's next "Sleeping Beauty" performance.
  • Mr. & Mrs. Jones, doing a double take as they drive by - he's in a **classic red tutu** (because why not?), and she's in a flowing, **emerald green tutu** that makes her look like a goddess straight out of ancient Greek mythology!
  • My darling Grandma Margaret! You know, when I mentioned that "everyone's wearing a tutu" I wasn't kidding! Sheโ€™s rocking a chic, black tulle tutu with a matching beret, proving youโ€™re never too old for a little fun.
  • And the cutest one, little Sammy, whose **mini tutu** looks like a little explosion of candy floss. You just can't help but smile.

There's a **pink tulle** tutu, a **lavender sequined** tutu, a **black velvet** tutu โ€“ basically every shade of the rainbow in the Crookwell town square. But I gotta admit, the star of the show today? Gotta be that magnificent, **royal blue tutu** that my neighbour Mrs. Miller has on. It's absolutely spectacular! She just proves that even in Crookwell, sometimes, you have to be daringly different.

So, let's give a big cheer to Crookwell for embracing their inner Tutu Queen (and King!)! Hereโ€™s to all those brave souls out there who aren't afraid to wear their hearts (and tutus!) on their sleeves!

See ya next #Tututuesday!
