This time, we're bringing the tutus to Baxter, Victoria. This week's tutu adventures have been full of sunshine, laughter, and a sprinkle of tutus, and I just have to share all the details with you! So, let's get straight into the tutus, shall we? For my Baxter #tututuesday adventure, I went for a classic romantic tutu. The flowy, layers of tulle were just divine, swaying with every pirouette. This tutu has that ballerina elegance we all know and love, perfect for a day of graceful movements and plenty of selfies!
First stop - the local park! With my tutu swirling around me like a cloud, I headed straight to the Baxter park for a few pics with the gorgeous backdrop of the sprawling greenery and blossoming gardens. I’ve got to admit, wearing a tutu in the park was such a confidence boost! I was feeling like a princess, gliding across the path as the sun glistened off the tulle. Seriously, who knew tutus could make you feel this good?! Here’s the thing though, wearing a tutu can make you a little self-conscious, so it was great to have a good laugh with the other girls! There were loads of other women wearing their tutus, even a few mums rocking tutus with their kids. Turns out, #tututuesday isn’t just for dancers! It's about celebrating your individuality, embracing a bit of silliness, and having some fun.
Next, it was time to get my inner child on! Remember those days of dressing up, spinning around, and pretending to be a fairy? Well, I can tell you, a tutu makes that fantasy come to life again! Who doesn't love a bit of magical whimsy? This tutu just begged for some silly moments! * I channeled my inner ballerine and did some twirls in front of the Baxter shopping centre – the staff were in hysterics! I have to admit I did blush a little when they started clapping, and I got a few happy cheers! It made my day. * Next up, I spotted a bunch of kids enjoying the playground. We started doing some spontaneous little dances - seriously, there’s something so infectious about twirling around in a tutu that it instantly makes everyone else smile and wanna join in. It’s a reminder that the best things in life are the simple joys, like giggling over silly outfits.
It wasn't all tutus and giggles, though! We couldn’t resist checking out the amazing artisan markets that Baxter had to offer. My new bestie, Lily, and I grabbed some coffee and a scrumptious, handcrafted apple pie, which was perfect with my new little, white lace tutu! Let's just say my ballerina stomach was a little relieved for the sweet treats, all that twirling was thirsty work!
Here’s the thing, even the smallest of details can make a difference in a tutu. The little white lace tutu that I snagged in Baxter had a little ruffle, that gave a touch of delicate elegance! I wore it with some dainty white ballet shoes, but trust me, you don’t have to dress to impress, especially if you’re just rocking out in a tutu! You can literally wear anything - comfy shoes, bright coloured shirts, and even quirky little hats! There's no dress code for tutu fun. It’s more about finding the perfect expression for yourself - what you want to showcase in that tutu.
