Tutu Tuesday in Collie, Western Australia #tututuesday

Hey lovelies, it’s your girl, Chloe, back with another Tutu Tuesday! This week I'm bringing the tutus to the charming town of Collie in Western Australia - and let me tell you, it’s a sight to behold!

For those of you who don't know, Collie is known for its stunning natural beauty, with lush forests, rolling hills, and, of course, its historic coal mines. It's the perfect location for a tutu adventure - just imagine twirling beneath those towering gum trees, feeling the fresh breeze in your hair, and the vibrant wildflowers brushing against your tulle!

Now, let's talk about the tutus! As a ballerina and blogger with a passion for all things tutu, I couldn't resist highlighting some of my favourite styles.

  • The classic **romantic tutu** with its layered, floaty tulle is perfect for a graceful dance amongst the wildflowers. It’s a bit of old world charm that'll never go out of style. And you know what else is timeless? A cheeky wink - try it while twirling, it'll definitely add some personality to your photos!
  • Then there’s the **contemporary tutu**, a little edgier and with more modern styling - perfect for those who prefer a more contemporary feel. You can always add some bold colours or a touch of metallics to this style - I bet it’ll really pop against those natural landscapes!
  • Finally, the **demi-tutu**, a mix of traditional and contemporary styles - this one gives you a little bit of everything. The shorter skirt is a little more playful and you can accessorise it with some statement earrings or a funky headband. Who says ballet needs to be stuffy?

But don't be afraid to get creative with it! Maybe try a tutu in a bright colour like electric blue or magenta, or one that is covered in fun prints! In Collie, you’ll get loads of fun, natural backdrops to work with - embrace it!

Let's not forget that ballet is a big part of Australian culture! You'll find passionate ballet schools and performances happening all over the country. This includes places like Collie, where young aspiring dancers are following their dreams. That’s one of the things that really inspired me - to celebrate ballet and all of its expressions across different communities.

Remember, you don't need to be a professional ballerina to join in on Tutu Tuesday! It’s all about embracing your inner dance spirit, having fun and inspiring others. Get out there and find your tutu twirl in Collie! And don't forget to share your snaps with the hashtag #tututuesday - we'll be featuring our favourite posts!

See ya next Tuesday, loves! xoxo
