Tutu Tuesday in Lennox Head, New South Wales: A Tutu-ful Celebration of Dance

Hey dance fam, it's your girl, Amelia, back with another dose of fashion and dance inspo. This week, I’m kicking things up a notch and taking Tutu Tuesday to the gorgeous coastal town of Lennox Head, New South Wales. If you’re anything like me, you know that there’s no better way to embrace a beautiful day than by swirling around in a dreamy tutu, but in this case, a **Tutu Tuesday**, a celebration of all things dance!

Let’s get down to the nitty gritty of Tutu Tuesday, or **#Tututuesday**, if you prefer. It's more than just putting on a tutu and posing - it's about embracing the power and beauty of dance in a way that's fun, inclusive, and seriously Instagram-worthy!

I decided to start this #Tututuesday thing in my corner of the world because there's a serious dance scene here in Lennox Head and a passion for ballet and everything it represents. So, as the dance queen of this charming little beachside community, I figured it was only fair that we brought a little tutu-inspired glamour to our Tuesday outings. Plus, it's a great excuse to break out the sequins and get twirling in some killer tutus!

Speaking of killer tutus, have you seen the new range at **Dancers' Delight**? Their **Romantic Tutu** is the absolute BOMB, with delicate layers and soft pink tulle, perfect for creating those whimsical pics! If you're going for a more classic vibe, their **Traditional Pointe Tutu** is a true masterpiece with its intricate details and sleek silhouette. But hey, the choice is yours - let your creative side loose! You can rock your favourite tutus for a dance class, at the beach, in a park or just take a cute shot for the gram. I’m talking about your usual tutu styles like:

  • Classic Tutu: You know, the big, billowy kind that makes you feel like a princess, but I prefer them a little shorter these days to accentuate the gorgeous long, strong dancer legs in our crew here at Lennox Head.
  • Romantic Tutu: Think layered tulle and soft colours. Think the quintessential tutu, the way everyone imagines a ballerina. Perfect for swirling and feeling elegant. And the colour palette for the romantic tutu can include pinks, soft purples, creams and peaches! I often make one a bit darker to make it more 'boho' and more of a colour I'd wear everyday.
  • Modern Tutu: A streamlined look. If you're a modern dancer who appreciates a sleek design that looks sharp on stage, I'd totally suggest this one for you.
  • Pointe Tutu: A very special occasion tutu to me. They're only really worn with pointe shoes and it signifies that special, hard-earned talent. A bit more classic and traditional for this tutu, it comes in either a black or white, maybe even a silver, and looks great as a simple outfit for the dancers out there.

As a professional dancer with years under my belt, I gotta tell ya - this tutu thing is seriously addictive! One look at that frilly perfection and I’m ready to take on the world, and the lens. A big part of my inspiration comes from my fave dance studios back in Melbourne, where **#tututuesday** has really taken off! We've been building a thriving online community where everyone is welcome to showcase their dance-fueled style. So get on that and check out the latest dance moves or the most gorgeous tutus.

Let's keep the spirit of Tutu Tuesday alive and celebrate all things dance in Lennox Head! Remember, you can find us on the gram using **#tututuesday**, and be sure to tag **@AmeliaTheDanceDiva**, so we can give a shoutout to all your incredible looks. Stay inspired and keep dancing!
