Tutu Tuesday in Pearcedale, Victoria: A Celebration of Twirling and Tulle

It's Tuesday, which means only one thing for this ballerina: #Tututuesday! And let me tell you, Pearcedale, Victoria, you've really got me twirling with excitement.

Today's Tutu Tuesday was a symphony of tulle and sequins. I felt like a fairy princess in my romantic, powder-pink tutu with delicate layers and a flowing train. It's a classic, you know? Like a Peter Pan-meets-Sleeping Beauty kind of dream.

I spent the morning practicing in my local studio. Ballet in Australia, especially in suburban Pearcedale, has a wonderful community feel. It’s inspiring to see so many dancers, from little tots taking their first steps to seasoned professionals, sharing their love of this art form.

Later on, I took my tutu out for a spin in the local park. Let me tell ya, Pearcedale has some stunning spots for a tutu-themed photoshoot. I’m thinking of a whole blog post about the most Insta-worthy spots in Pearcedale.

Here’s a little breakdown of today’s tutu magic:

  • The Tutu: My absolute go-to – romantic, ethereal, powder-pink perfection. The fabric is so soft and dreamy, and the multiple layers just make me feel like I'm floating. I definitely channelled my inner prima ballerina in this one!
  • The Outfit: To keep the ballerina vibes strong, I paired it with a crisp white tank top and a soft ballet cardigan, for a touch of Victorian romance.
  • The Shoes: I couldn't resist my go-to pointe shoes - they're just so beautiful, and they always make me feel ready to conquer any ballet challenge.
  • The Makeup: This look was all about enhancing my natural features with subtle shades of pink and peach – just like the tulle, of course! A light dusting of glitter never goes astray when you want to sparkle!

Pearcedale, you have been an absolute delight! #Tututuesday, I’m already counting down the days to next week’s tulle-tastic adventures.

Now, off to find my next Tutu Tuesday inspiration in this charming Victorian town!
