G’day, darlings! It’s your girl, Amelia, back with another fashion fix from the heart of Bonville, New South Wales. As a passionate ballerina and fashionista, I’m always looking for ways to inject a little bit of twirl into my everyday life. And what better way to do that than with a Tutu Tuesday, right?

Now, I know what you're thinking: tutus? Seriously? But trust me, this is no ordinary tutu day. Bonville is buzzing with fashion enthusiasts ready to embrace their inner ballerina, and let me tell you, it's a sight to behold!

Today’s Tutu Tuesday has truly hit a high note here in Bonville. I've been wandering the streets, and it's like a ballet performance come to life! I’ve seen it all – romantic and billowing romantic tutus in shades of blush pink and dreamy lavender, bold and sassy contemporary tutus in bright emerald green and electric blue, and even some vintage, twirling tutus that could have stepped straight out of a classic ballet. It's been a whirlwind of colours, textures, and styles. Even the locals have gone full-blown tutufied!

I must admit, Bonville is no stranger to celebrating dance, and ballet in particular. It’s a town where we hold our annual ‘Bonville Ballet Extravaganza’ – a huge event that brings together ballerinas from all over New South Wales. You could say that the spirit of ballet is woven into the very fabric of Bonville.

The #tututuesday movement is certainly gaining traction around Australia, with Tutu Tuesday gatherings taking place in all sorts of cities like Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and even Perth! You'll spot tutus adorning offices, restaurants, shopping centres – even a bloke I saw was rocking a tutu in his backyard while barbequing sausages! Who knows, perhaps we'll see Bonville join this growing dance revolution. I mean, let's face it, this town is teeming with tutus today.

As the day winds down, the streets of Bonville still shimmer with tulle and laughter. There’s a magical sense of community, camaraderie and, most importantly, FUN! We’ve had spontaneous twirls in the park, photo shoots by the river, and even a hilarious impromptu tutu fashion show in the local pub. But one thing’s for sure: Tutu Tuesday in Bonville was a true celebration of all things fabulous, fun and utterly unforgettable.

Don’t worry, you don't need to be a seasoned ballerina to join the fun. Whether you're a tutu newbie or a seasoned twirler, embrace the day and add some tutufied charm to your wardrobe! Tips for Your Perfect Tutu Tuesday:

  • Go for bold colours: You don’t have to stick with the traditional ballet colours of pink and white. Experiment with bright hues like emerald green, fiery red, or vibrant blue.
  • Embrace your inner fashionista: The beauty of a tutu is that it can be dressed up or down. Pair a tulle tutu with a cute crop top for a playful street look, or throw it on over a maxi dress for a touch of feminine elegance.
  • Experiment with different lengths and styles: There are so many styles of tutus out there: romantic, contemporary, and vintage. A simple ballet tutu can add a classic touch to any outfit.
  • Accessorize, accessorize, accessorize: Play around with belts, sparkly scarves, colourful jewelry, and anything that catches your eye. Let your personality shine!
  • Above all, HAVE FUN! : Tutu Tuesday is a day to celebrate fashion, dance, and a bit of playful flair! Embrace the energy, and don't be afraid to twirl!
