Tutu Tuesday in Capel, Western Australia: A Tutu-tastic Celebration!

You guys know how much I love a good tutu - and let me tell you, this one was absolutely unforgettable.
Capel is a small, charming town nestled on the beautiful south coast of WA. Now, you might be thinking, "Tilly, Capel? That's a long way from the big city lights!" And you'd be right. This week, the local dance studio, Capel Creative Dance, hosted their very first Tutu Tuesday event. The concept was simple but brilliant: a celebration of all things tutus, with a focus on raising funds for the studio and its amazing teachers. I was lucky enough to be invited to judge the tutu parade - what a dream job, right? And trust me, it was hard work! So many adorable kids and talented dancers rocking some truly incredible tutus.
Now, let's talk styles, shall we? We saw it all! From classic, romantic tutus with billowing layers of tulle to sassy, modern tutus with pops of colour and interesting fabrics. One little dancer even had a tutu adorned with glittery seashells - totally perfect for Capel, wouldn't you say?

It was heart-warming to witness the sheer joy on the faces of the young dancers, their families and friends. There was so much excitement and pride, it truly touched me. A big shout out to Capel Creative Dance for organising this incredible event! They really showed everyone that tutu fun doesn't need to be confined to the city.
