Tutu Tuesday in Mount Clear, Victoria: #tututuesday

G'day, darlings! It's your favourite ballet bunny, Amelia, back with another fabulous fashion fix. As you all know, I'm a bit obsessed with tutus (who isn't?). They're the epitome of grace, elegance and, let's be honest, pure unadulterated fun.

So, in honour of my favourite day of the week (that's right, it's definitely Tutu Tuesday), I thought I'd share some of my latest finds and a bit of my ballet journey with you all.

My first tutu love was, of course, the classic Romantic tutu. The delicate layers of tulle and the way it swirls around the dancer's body when they move is just magical. It's the perfect combination of softness and drama and never fails to transport me to a world of ballerinas and grand palaces.

Then, there's the majestic, more structured "Bell" tutu. These stunning designs usually feature an extended bouffant or skirt that resembles a bell. I remember first seeing this style in "The Nutcracker," and it made my little ballet heart flutter with excitement. There's an ethereal, almost regal presence to it, that I absolutely adore.

Of course, we can't forget the bold and beautiful "Classical" or "French" tutu, often featuring a wide, flat, horizontal shape. It's all about architectural lines, power, and a dash of vintage elegance. These tutus make for some incredible dance movements and can make a ballerina look incredibly powerful and imposing.

Recently, I've also fallen head over heels for "Paganini" tutus, with their super-layered frills, and "American" tutus with their whimsical layers. Itโ€™s crazy how much variety there is within the tutu world! The possibilities are endless, which is probably why I love tutus so much!

Now, back to my Mount Clear adventure... You know, it's amazing how something as simple as a tutu can bring people together. I remember being a young girl and starting ballet at the lovely Ballet Studio here in Mount Clear. There's a real sense of community there and I am so glad to still have this great local place in our area. So many other people seem to share my love for tutus and it makes me so happy!

Of course, wearing a tutu is not just about the outfit; it's about how it makes you feel! For me, slipping into a tutu means stepping into a world of confidence, grace and, yes, even a bit of playful rebellion. It's a reminder that it's ok to embrace the fabulous, to spin and twirl, and to enjoy the journey of life, one tutu at a time!

So, what's your favourite tutu style? Do you have any Tutu Tuesday plans? Share them in the comments below and let's celebrate the beauty and joy of tutus together! #tututuesday
