Tutu Tuesday in Spreyton, Tasmania: #tututuesday

G'day lovelies! It's your girl, Chloe, back at it again with another #tututuesday! You know how much I love tutus. It’s practically an Australian tradition. As a dancer in the land down under, you practically have to wear one to class! So let’s dive into my latest Tutu Tuesday adventures, and let's celebrate these glorious creations that define grace, femininity, and oh, those pirouettes!

Firstly, let's chat about style. Spreyton’s scene is a bit more relaxed, right? You’re not in the middle of Sydney, so the girls here prefer the flowy, ethereal tutus. It's about the delicate movement, the soft whispers of the fabric as we leap, not a super stiff and dramatic design, even if that would be awesome for a big, bold ballet! It just wouldn't be right in Spreyton, and for me. For Tutu Tuesdays, I want a little whimsical magic. There’s this one I adore, the layered chiffon skirt - oh it just swirls so elegantly when you turn!

  • **The Romantic tutu:** Soft tulle layers for that dreamy look – just picture yourself in a moonlit dance, dancing barefoot by the seaside in a whisper of tulle. Pure magic, lovelies.
  • **The Classic Tutu:** Short, elegant and so sassy! It's the tutu you see in all those grand ballets and you know that with the classic you just can’t go wrong. It’s so iconic – so many ballerinas all around the world in every ballet school from New York to Paris to our very own Sydney Opera House – and yes Spreyton’s school has the best ballerinas too.
  • **The tutu that embraces everyone:** It’s what Tutu Tuesdays are all about. All of us wearing something that gives us confidence and a way to celebrate that unique sense of beauty, the dance of being ourselves. I adore my Tutu Tuesdays, we've got every age group - schoolgirls, mums, and yes even some grandmas with a bit of Tutu flair in their lives.

Let's go back to Spreyton. There’s this little bakery, right? It’s like stepping into another world, they’ve got this little shop window with tutus on display – it’s insane! It makes the whole area so charming and really adds this feminine touch – and let's face it, when your main outfit is a tulle masterpiece, a little sparkle here and there never hurt anyone, am I right?

What else? Oh, Spreyton is the perfect setting for a Tutu Tuesday picnic, maybe near the river. Imagine, laying out a picnic blanket on the lush grass, surrounded by towering trees with the sound of the water gurgling and splashing around you – so serene! What makes it better? Well, just picture a whole group of women dressed in beautiful tutus! Can you think of anything prettier?

To make it extra special, I’m starting this trend – yes I am - with a little Tutu Tuesdays challenge – every month I’m going to choose my favourite tutu and post it here, then my followers, it’s your time to shine! Pick your best Tutu for Tutu Tuesdays, and send me a photo on social media with the tag #TutuTuesdaySpreyton! So ladies, dust off those tulle masterpieces. It’s time to embrace the joy and creativity of the dance! #tututuesday #TutuTuesdaySpreyton
