Tutu Tuesday in Bermagui, New South Wales G'day lovelies! It's your girl, Elle, here, back with another Tutu Tuesday, but this time with a seaside twist! As a ballerina who grew up in the land of sun, surf, and… well, ballet, I've always been a huge fan of exploring the beauty of our country's incredible coastline. So, for this week's Tutu Tuesday, I decided to take a little road trip to the stunning little coastal town of Bermagui in New South Wales. Let's face it, everyone's always gushing about the Harbour City, and rightly so, Sydney is amazing! But there's a special charm to be found in these little gems scattered along the NSW coast. And Bermagui definitely fits the bill. The air is salty, the water is turquoise, and the sun is… well, you know. And that's why it's the perfect place to show off a few Tutu Tuesday looks.
**Now, let's get into the tutus!** First up, we had a classic, traditional Romantic tutu, perfectly flowing in the wind as I stood on the cliffs overlooking the vast blue expanse of the Pacific Ocean. It's like the ocean itself was inspiring my movement, the air swirling around my skirt, mirroring the dance of the waves. It was an elegant look, capturing the timeless grace and femininity of ballet, even on the wild Australian coast. Then it was time to unleash the inner tomboy in a whimsical, modern tutu - think shorter, fluffier, and a bit more fun. We hit the Bermagui Wharf, the perfect backdrop for a little Tutu Tuesday photoshoot with the fishing boats bobbing around us. The energy of the harbour and the sheer vibrant life buzzing around us in this picturesque little coastal town demanded a little sass in the outfit. I'd never been more inspired to dance by a dockside!
**Beyond the Tutu** Let's be honest, a ballerina doesn't survive on tutus alone, no matter how amazing they are! To truly appreciate the unique atmosphere of Bermagui, I spent my day embracing the town's local culture. I wandered through the vibrant markets, catching glimpses of the artistry of local craftspeople and finding some really beautiful local pottery. We sampled some mouth-watering seafood straight off the boats, which reminded me of the dedication and passion of this coastal community. And of course, we ended the day by catching a spectacular sunset, which lit the sky in a blaze of colour over the turquoise water, it was honestly magical.
**Finding your own Tutu Tuesday** You don't need to be a ballerina to appreciate the magic of Tutu Tuesday. The essence is about finding that unique blend of fun and creativity in your life, a splash of something different that just brings a little extra sunshine into your week. Bermagui might be my Tutu Tuesday this week, but I challenge you to find yours! It might be the local park, a stunning art exhibition, or even a night out with your besties!
**And don't forget to snap those pics and share them online using #tututuesday, and tag me @elle_ballet!** Remember, even if you're not twirling in a tutu, the spirit of the day is about adding a little extra sparkle to your everyday. Let's show the world how much fun we can have! See you next Tutu Tuesday!
