But for me, this Tutu Tuesday is about more than just the stunning scenery. It's about the joy of ballet, the art of graceful movement, and the empowering beauty of a well-executed pirouette. As a professional dancer in this amazing country, I've seen a huge resurgence of interest in ballet, and it makes my heart sing to see so many aspiring ballerinas finding their passion. 💖
Speaking of passion, can we talk about the divine, whimsical world of tutus? From the classic, romantic **romantic tutu** with its billowing layers and soft, ethereal tulle, to the daring and contemporary **contemporary tutu**, which reimagines the classic silhouette with a modern twist. The variety of designs is endless! And that’s before we even get into the intricate details – from delicate floral embellishments to shimmering sequins, there’s a tutu to suit every style and occasion. 🤩
For my Tutu Tuesday in Drummond Cove, I went for a look that embraced both the classical and modern aspects of ballet. Imagine this… The sun's setting on the horizon, painting the sky in shades of orange and purple. I'm on the sand, toes digging into the soft grains, the salty breeze tousling my hair. I’m wearing a stunning **tutu dress** with layers of soft tulle cascading from my waist, in a rich, sunset orange. I paired it with a classic black **leotard** and my go-to, **ballet flats** that gave a nod to tradition without being overly fussy. I felt like a ballerina stepping straight out of a dream, ready to pirouette into the waves. 🌅
And let me tell you, darlings, it's the perfect place to twirl! There's something so liberating about feeling the wind in your hair as you dance under the open sky, the sound of the waves crashing gently on the shore, the golden sand yielding beneath your feet. It’s all so incredibly magical!

I spent the rest of my Tutu Tuesday enjoying the beauty of Drummond Cove – picnicking on the sand, soaking up the sun, and trying my hand at a few sandcastle masterpieces (I'm a bit more "swan lake" than "sand castle", but hey, who am I to judge?)
