Tutu Tuesday in Alligator Creek, Queensland #tututuesday G'day lovelies! It's me, your fave ballet blogger, back with another #tututuesday update from Alligator Creek, Queensland! Who knew this little outback town had such a penchant for twirling? I'm here to tell ya, it's all happening! It’s Tuesday, and the sun's already blazing. So much so, even the possums have traded their usual midday snooze for the shade. This, however, won't stop the spirit of tutu Tuesday here in the heart of the tropics. Let’s start with the fabulously colourful street-side ballet pops we spotted on our way into the Main Street cafe! I reckon it's the hottest new trend and definitely a sign of things to come! Talk about a bold fashion statement! The girls wore tutus with bright tropical colours, a perfect nod to the vibrant colours of this amazing area. Imagine the sheer joy of walking around with the wind tousling your hair and a perfectly pleated **tutu** billowing behind you! But hold on! There's more! I mean, why stop at street-side pops when we could have a full blown tutu day! And we are definitely going to make this happen. Just watch this space for future updates on what’s happening in Alligator Creek, Queensland #tututuesday We stopped for some brekkie at a sweet little cafe - perfect for our Instagram #tututuesday snap. ( I'm talkin’ seriously gorgeous pancakes and some absolutely killer flat white! ). They even had this super sweet little sign that said " Welcome #tututuesday - You’re gonna love it here!" Don’t you just love a local that gets the vibe? We decided to take a peek at what Alligator Creek’s ballet scene had to offer and stumbled upon the cutest little studio! The ballet class was an absolute riot! All the young girls with bright little smiles on their faces - it was inspiring, cute and just downright heart-warming! They really inspired me to wear my heart on my tutu sleeve today (metaphorically speaking of course!). They had tutus from all kinds! There were the classics like the **traditional tutus** for the ballets classics - those beautiful creations with their layered tulle and tiers that make every ballerina look like a fairy in flight. There was even a couple of girls doing **contemporary dance**, and guess what? Even their clothes had tutus – just a little different to the classical style! Talk about finding ways to embrace tutu-inspired fashion in a modern world, am I right? If you're looking for something to wear to make you stand out this Tuesday, why not a tutu? Even just a splash of tutu - a little tutu ribbon on a ponytail - anything can add some playful joy to a Tuesday! It's amazing to see how these local girls are so much more than just budding ballerinas, they’re little fashion icons. That's something I’m looking to embrace and bring to all of you! We have just about fallen in love with Alligator Creek and the #tututuesday energy here is just off the charts!
