Tutu Tuesday in Kalbarri, Western Australia G'day darlings! It's your girl, Chloe here, bringing you all the latest from the world of dance, and, of course, Tutu Tuesday! This week, I'm soaking up the sun in the stunning Kalbarri National Park in Western Australia. I can't believe I've never been here before. The gorges, the wildflowers, the crystal-clear waters - it's seriously picturesque! It's the perfect spot for a Tutu Tuesday shoot, wouldn't you say? But before we dive into the fashion (because let's be honest, that's what you're here for!), I have to gush about Kalbarri's incredible natural beauty. * It's amazing to think that this place is just a short drive from the bustling city life of Perth. In Kalbarri, you can truly escape it all. The rugged landscape, carved out by ancient forces, is something to behold. And the vibrant colours of the wildflowers, popping out against the red dirt, make for some stunning photographs (I'll be sure to share some on Insta!). * But the highlight for me has definitely been the Kalbarri National Park. Walking through the Murchison Gorge was breathtaking. The towering red cliffs, the gushing waterfalls, the peaceful stillness – it was like being transported to another world. Ok, back to the real reason we're here - TUTUS! And what better place to showcase some serious Tutu Tuesday fashion than amidst this incredible backdrop? Tutu styles and my inspiration * This week, I'm feeling the "Classic Romantic" vibe. Think billowing layers of tulle, flowing with every pirouette. * And, I gotta admit, this classic tutu style definitely gives me a certain old-world charm. But for my Tutu Tuesday look, I've injected a touch of modern elegance with a sleek black bodice and chic pointy flats (because sometimes a ballerina needs a break from the pointe shoes!). * You can bet your bottom dollar, I’ll be styling my tulle in other ways throughout the week - maybe even paired with a casual white t-shirt or denim jacket! I'm always looking for new ways to mix and match my Tutu Tuesday look to suit any occasion. The magic of tutu’s Speaking of inspiration, I've been thinking a lot about the amazing history of dance in Australia. There's such a vibrant dance scene here, with countless talented dancers, choreographers, and ballet companies. It's amazing to think about all the incredible tutus that have graced Australian stages over the years, each telling its own story through graceful movement. And Tutu Tuesday, in my opinion, is a way to celebrate that legacy.
