Hey darlings! It's Tutu Tuesday, and I'm back with my weekly dose of all things tutus. This week, I’m feeling so inspired by the amazing ballet scene happening in Australia! From the big city ballets in Melbourne and Sydney to the smaller regional companies like the one we have here in Allora, it’s such a vibrant and dynamic industry. There’s something so powerful about the art form, the way it combines strength and grace, and it’s just captivating. But hey, enough about the artistic stuff – let’s talk fashion!
Today, I'm rocking a gorgeous tutu with a romantic, billowing tulle skirt, the classic single-layered style but with a delicate lace trim. It’s perfect for those who love a bit of vintage charm, with a dash of whimsical style.
I’m finding myself loving those big powdery pink tutus. The way the colour just floats, it's like a dream. I even saw one the other day at a dance studio in town. It was just breathtaking - those giant ruffles and the vibrant pink colour made me feel like a fairytale princess.
If you're looking for something a little different, there’s also a plethora of contemporary tutus available that have gone far beyond traditional styles. There are amazing experimental styles, ones made from non-traditional materials – even ones using denim and metallics – and they’re so stunning!
