For those of you who don't know, #Tututuesday is an unofficial (but oh-so-fabulous) celebration of the classic ballerina’s garment - the tutu. From the romantic tutus with billowing layers to the sharp, precise lines of the contemporary tutu, it’s an absolute blast to express your inner ballerina every Tuesday.
Growing up in the regional scene in Wahgunyah, ballet was a big part of my life. I’ve seen a fair share of tutus in my time – from the humble, classic single-layered white tutu we all wore for our first ballet class to the sparkly, layered beauties we reserved for recitals.
Here in Wahgunyah, Tutu Tuesday isn't about putting on our full ballet regalia - we are more relaxed about it, but we don't let that diminish our dedication to the tutus! In Wahgunyah, #tututuesday means a little splash of tulle in your day!
