Hey, darlings! It’s your girl, Elle, back with another post about my absolute fave day of the week - Tutu Tuesday! I mean, who doesn't love a good excuse to twirl around in a fluffy, fabulous tutu, right?

I know, I know, it sounds like a pretty niche day, but trust me, it's catching on! #tututuesday has become a worldwide movement, with dancers and tutu enthusiasts alike snapping pics and sharing their love for the iconic dancewear. Here in Rochedale, Queensland, we’re definitely jumping on the bandwagon, and we’re doing it with a whole lot of Aussie flair!

And when I say “flair,” I mean some seriously stylish tutus. Think classic, romantic tulle, playful layered fabrics, and even the bold and modern contemporary numbers with sleek silhouettes and asymmetric designs. There’s something for everyone!

So, how did we, here in Rochedale, Queensland, make Tutu Tuesday our own? It all started at the local dance school, where a few of the senior students decided to throw a “Tutu Takeover” to show some love for the iconic dancewear. They strutted their stuff, did some impromptu rehearsals in the local park, and ended up sparking a community movement.

From then on, #tututuesday became a regular event, and Rochedale is bursting with people of all ages sporting their own versions of the classic dancewear, and letting their inner ballerina shine through. We even have "Tutu Twirling Wednesdays" for the more spontaneous souls! And why not, right?

It’s truly inspiring to see such a simple idea take off and become a community-wide celebration of ballet, creativity, and above all, a little bit of fun.
