Tutu Tuesday in Goonellabah, New South Wales: A Tutu-tastic Time! #tututuesday
G'day, fellow tutu enthusiasts! It's your girl, Maddie, back with another fabulously fabulous #tututuesday post. This week, we're taking a spin through the streets of Goonellabah, New South Wales, to celebrate all things tulle. Let's just say, it's a total ballet bonanza in the Northern Rivers! 🩰
I mean, you can't tell me there's anything more joyous than slipping into a beautiful, twirly tutu, right? It's a true symbol of freedom and grace, no matter if it's a classic romantic, a sassy modern, or a dramatic, dramatic, Victorian style! Goonellabah has truly embraced the tutu vibe, and I'm loving it!
I kicked off my #tututuesday adventures at the Goonellabah Markets. These markets are the best – always bustling with the freshest produce, colourful handmade goods, and oh-so-many cute little shops. But today, there was an extra sprinkle of magic! 🌈 I spotted a group of little dancers in adorable "en pointe" tutus, twirling away while practicing their pirouettes. I mean, it just warms the heart, right? 💕 The air was filled with such joyous energy that it was almost impossible to not bust out some tutu twirls myself!
From there, I headed over to the local cafe for a cheeky flat white. The coffee scene in Goonellabah is absolutely pumping, and I always get excited to discover a new favourite place. Speaking of favorites, my tutu of choice today was my super comfy pastel pink romantic tutu. It makes me feel light, feminine, and utterly prepared for a day of tutu-ing adventures! 😄
Later, I stumbled upon a gorgeous dance studio called “Dancing With The Stars” – a real gem! I couldn't resist popping in to admire all the ballet gear and catch up with a fellow tutu enthusiast. There were absolutely gorgeous costumes in every colour imaginable. I saw some amazing "pas de deux" tutus for those twirling duos – dreamy! 💖 I was also totally obsessed with the classic black and white "Swan Lake" tutu - what a showstopper.
As the afternoon sunshine danced across the streets of Goonellabah, I felt an urge to share the #tututuesday magic. I couldn’t resist striking some poses and showcasing the tutu's versatility. You could totally wear it for any occasion – a day of shopping, a casual catch-up with mates, or even just to pick up your weekly groceries. The tutu has no limitations! 😜
You know what I've noticed, fellow Australians? There's something special about seeing ballet bloom right here in our beautiful backyard.
