Peregian Beach, Queensland: Tutu Tuesday is officially a thing!

It's your girl, Chloe here, and let me tell you, something magical happened in Peregian Beach yesterday. It was all thanks to #tututuesday. So, as you all know, I'm a huge advocate for bringing a little bit of twirling magic into every day, but yesterday, things were different.
The sun was shining, the beach was buzzing, and suddenly, it felt like I wasn't the only one in my tutu. Seriously, people, everywhere I looked, there was a tutu. A pink tulle classic, a playful mini tutu with a quirky print, a vintage tutu fit for a ballerina, a bold black tutu, even some fellas were rocking tutus! It was like a ballet gone wild.
Don't get me wrong, tutus are ALWAYS in style, especially here in Queensland where the weather is basically sunshine 24/7. But yesterday, it wasn't just about fashion; it was about community, and let's be honest, a bit of silly fun. We were a rainbow of colours and tulle, spinning and laughing in the sunshine.
We were at The Beach Bar for a #tututuesday special, sipping on delicious cocktails, and it just felt like all the stress of the week just floated away. It reminded me that sometimes, all you need is a bit of magic and a good twirl to get you through. And the magic was in the tutus!
Here are just a few things I loved about this incredible #tututuesday:
- The tutus! As I said, there were tutus for every style and taste! I spotted some fabulous vintage numbers, perfectly matched with retro shades, alongside some modern sporty tutus paired with crop tops and leggings. My personal fav? The tulle with rainbow stitching - pure, vibrant, sunshine bliss.
- The energy! It was electric! You know that feeling you get after you smash a killer ballet class? Yeah, the vibe was kind of like that. Everyone was just buzzing, so joyful, happy to be a part of something special.
- The smiles! And that's the most important thing, right? I saw grins, laughs, and a lot of giggles! It really was contagious! The beach bar was brimming with positive energy.
And you know what? Peregian Beach, you're definitely setting the bar for #tututuesday. The rest of Australia, watch out! It might be time to make it your thing. This is not just about ballet, it's about embracing the joy, being free, and celebrating life's little twirls. And really, who doesn't want that?
