Tutu Tuesday in Bogangar, New South Wales: A Day for Twirls and Tiaras G'day, darlings! It's your girl, Chloe, back with another installment of my blog. As you know, Tuesday is the one day of the week dedicated to our most beloved garment: the tutu. Yes, Tutu Tuesday! So let's get this #tututuesday party started! Firstly, let me tell you a bit about where I am today. Bogangar, New South Wales! A beautiful little town, nestled amongst the gorgeous coastal landscape. Now, I know you might be thinking, "Chloe, what on earth are you doing in Bogangar? Shouldn't you be in Sydney?" And you know, you'd be right, usually I am! But there's a special ballet competition happening this week - the annual Bogangar Dance Festival, and I wouldn't miss it for the world. Okay, let's get to the reason you're here! **Today's tutu look!** I’m going for a classic, romantic look – you know, the kind of tutu that makes you want to float around a lake under the moonlight! My chosen style is a traditional "Romantic tutu" (the kind we all picture when we think of the ballet "Swan Lake", just with a few more strategically placed feathers!). And yes, I know, the feathers add just the right amount of drama! Speaking of drama, I'm also sporting a beautiful blush-coloured silk leotard with sparkly sequins around the neckline ( because, you know, what's a ballerina without a little bit of sparkle?). Of course, no Tutu Tuesday look is complete without a touch of whimsy, so I've topped it all off with a tiny crown (think tiny tiaras but with sparkly white gems! They're pretty, right?!). Let me know in the comments what you guys think! Now, time for some tutus, a few turns, and maybe even a bit of pirouette or two! But of course, remember that, you don't need a full-length tutu to celebrate #tututuesday - it can be a half-tutu, a practice tutu, a DIY tutu, whatever floats your boat. The key is to wear it with confidence and make a statement. I can’t wait to see your #tututuesday looks, so tag me! As for me, the Bogangar Dance Festival has begun! Today I'm judging the 'Little Stars' section and you just wouldn’t believe how talented these kids are - it really goes to show, we've got some brilliant up-and-coming talent in Australian ballet. If you are lucky enough to be close by - the Bogangar Dance Festival is a truly amazing spectacle and totally worth a visit. The passion for ballet, and for dance in general, is contagious - and so inspiring. I’m always blown away by the raw talent of Australians – particularly those on the coast - and there’s nothing better than watching a community get excited about something. Anyway, that's all from me! Catch ya next time! Remember to tag me on Instagram @chloesdanceblog with your #tututuesday look and we'll continue this celebration all month long. And stay tuned for the next #tututuesday , where I’m sharing the latest and greatest trends from the dance world - including my tips on how to make your tutu-dreams a reality! You'll never guess what’s coming up in February! Let’s just say it’s all about "tutus on trend." Have a wonderful rest of your Tuesday, and keep on twirling! **Chloe x**
