Tutu Tuesday in Macedon, Victoria: A Celebration of Whimsy and Grace
It’s Tuesday, which means it’s #tututuesday and you know what that means – time to unleash my inner ballerina and let my tutu fly. I'm always thrilled when #tututuesday rolls around, as a ballet dancer and self-proclaimed fashionista who’s absolutely bonkers for tutus! And there’s no better place to wear my favourite tutu than Macedon, Victoria. With its stunning views and charming atmosphere, Macedon is the perfect place to embrace the magic of dance.
Today, I’m wearing my vintage, hand-sewn tulle tutu in a stunning emerald green – perfect for bringing a bit of regal flair to my otherwise casual Tuesday ensemble. You know I'm a huge fan of traditional tutus – the classic romantic silhouette with multiple layers of soft, billowing tulle never gets old. But as you all know, I like to switch things up with a modern twist. For this week’s Tutu Tuesday, I paired my green number with a relaxed, linen jumpsuit in a beautiful shade of caramel – the kind of outfit that allows me to effortlessly blend in with the elegant charm of Macedon's architecture. After a lovely coffee and croissant at one of Macedon's delightful cafes (a necessary fuel for the Tutu Tuesday adventure), I decided to take my tutu on a whimsical wander through the Macedon Regional Park. This beautiful expanse of green is a stunning place, perfect for a tutu-tastic photoshoot – or, in my case, just for letting my imagination run wild and channeling my inner fairy tale princess! I can't resist spinning around amidst the natural beauty and feeling like a tiny dancer in a big world.
The Tutu Tuesday adventures, though, aren’t all about just me! I wanted to involve others in the tutu-ific fun, so I took to my Instagram stories and invited my followers to share their own #tututuesday celebrations.
