It's your girl, Ellie, back with another #tututuesday post and this time I'm bringing the tutus to the stunning seaside town of Bangalow, New South Wales! I know what you're thinking - a tutu in Bangalow? It's like a dream, right? Well, let me tell you, it was a total dream come true! The beautiful lush green hinterland against the backdrop of a bright, beautiful blue sky? I mean, where better to celebrate a love for ballet, fashion, and fun? Now, let's get into the real star of the show, the tutus! From the moment I stepped into the charming boutique here in Bangalow, it was like I'd walked into a ballerina's paradise! I had my pick of the perfect tulle: - **Classic Romantic Tutus:** With layers of shimmering tulle cascading like a beautiful cloud. - **Modern Ballet Tutus:** For those of you who prefer a sleek and streamlined look. We're talking simple shapes with modern accents and statement colours! - **Whimsical Short Tutus:** For when you want something playful and sassy. Short and sassy! Of course, you can't have a good Tutu Tuesday without the perfect location. I chose to have my photo shoot on a hidden pathway at the foot of the most beautiful waterfall. This pathway was framed by towering rainforest trees that gave an almost magical feel. I'm not sure if it was the surroundings or the tutus themselves, but I was completely transported! Look, the ballet world is pretty competitive in Australia. The Sydney Dance Company, The Australian Ballet - they all command incredible talent and passion, and frankly, it's daunting! Sometimes I wonder if I could ever get a spot in a national ballet company like that. Would my tutu and passion be enough to land a role in a show with The Australian Ballet, let alone Sydney Dance Company? The competitive spirit is fierce. Maybe not, but #tututuesday in Bangalow definitely made me feel like a dancing queen for the day! So, here's to embracing the whimsical side of fashion, and embracing the magical power of a tutu.
