Tutu Tuesday in Witta, Queensland: A tutu-tastic day in the sunshine state!

Hey everyone! It's your girl, Amelia here, and guess what? It's Tutu Tuesday in Witta, Queensland! For all you fabulous folks who haven’t heard of #Tututuesday - it's an excuse to throw on your favourite tutu (yes, you heard that right, your tutu!), head out and about, and sparkle like a diamond!

This beautiful little town is known for its serene bush landscapes, breathtaking views and amazing community spirit. I couldn't think of a more magical place to spread the Tutu Tuesday love!

So today I decided to whip out my classic romantic tutu. You know, the one that billows out, that makes you feel like a fairytale princess. Let’s just say the wind definitely added to its charm this morning as I strutted down the Main Street, turning heads, and inspiring smiles. You just gotta love the sunshine state vibe.

I can’t think of anything more empowering than stepping out in a tutu. You automatically get a smile on your face and feel like you can take on the world!

My morning was spent grabbing a cheeky latte and a delicious croissant at the Witta General Store. I chatted to some local artists, and got the gossip on the upcoming art festival. And the best part? Everyone I met, locals and tourists alike, were all wearing a smile! You wouldn't believe how contagious a good tutu vibe can be.

Next, I headed to the famous Witta Falls. I'm not gonna lie - my romantic tutu did make the waterfall even more spectacular! There's something about twirling with a breathtaking vista as a backdrop. Let’s just say the photographer in me couldn’t help snapping some beautiful pics for the 'gram.

You've probably heard that ballet in Australia has taken off. This is great news for ballet dancers like me because the appreciation for this art form just keeps getting bigger and bigger.

What's awesome is that Tutu Tuesday can be enjoyed by everyone. You don't have to be a seasoned ballet dancer or have a dance background. It’s about bringing joy, individuality, and creativity into our communities.

Whether it's a tututu you've inherited, bought from a vintage store, or a handmade masterpiece, Tutu Tuesday is all about making a statement and making people smile.

This day has taught me that you don’t need to take life too seriously, have a little fun and step outside your comfort zone! So, whether you're in Witta, Queensland or a town or city anywhere else in the world, grab a tutu, join the #tututuesday movement and make your day a bit brighter!
