Coutts Crossing, NSW, tutu Tuesday, baby!

Alright, fellow tutu enthusiasts, get ready to prance! This Tuesday was all about twirling and tiaras – in a good way, of course! I woke up feeling like I was ready to hit the stage, but alas, I wasn't exactly gracing the Sydney Opera House with my moves today. Nope, it was a tutu takeover of the tiny, charming town of Coutts Crossing, nestled right in the heart of NSW. Who knew this little spot would become my tutu haven?

Now, I don't want to make it seem like a total fairytale. There was definitely a touch of the “kooky” about the whole thing. I mean, who’s walking around town with a feather boa and a full-on tulle tutu? Apparently, a lot of us. It turns out, Coutts Crossing embraced the weird and wonderful, making it one of the most colourful places I've seen!

I’m all for embracing different fashion styles, you know? Like, let’s face it, the classical ballet tutu? It’s a timeless icon! Think delicate tulle, fitted bodices – an elegant symbol of graceful movement. You can never go wrong with a classic!

But Coutts Crossing, it’s a whole different kettle of fish! They weren’t afraid to break the mould – and I have to say, it really added something special to the whole tutu experience! They were playing with colour and shape. A dash of this, a splash of that – we saw tutus that wouldn't be out of place at a festival! There were neon tutus, tutus with sequins, tutus that were so fluffy, they looked like they belonged to a fairy! They were all different but so undeniably fabulous.

I've always been a fan of the classic, so it was great to see this explosion of styles, like a whirlwind of creativity. I’m talking bright yellow, emerald green, a tutu that looked like it was straight out of a disco! It’s no wonder I found myself surrounded by a parade of fun! You’d have to be a real grump to not smile!

And who could forget the locals, they were just as fabulous! They embraced the tutu magic with open arms and smiles as wide as the sky. It’s refreshing to see such a diverse group come together – it’s definitely proof that everyone’s a baller in their own way. Even those wearing tutu tutus were embracing the silliness, showing us that a sense of humor is an essential skill in life! I couldn't help but do a little twirl myself.

But tutu fun isn’t all. Let’s talk about this unique Australian atmosphere – we can’t ignore the magic that’s right in our own backyard! This little town, surrounded by lush green trees and crystal clear rivers, truly embodies the relaxed Aussie spirit – and with tutus added, it was a masterpiece. Just watching locals and visitors bond over this colourful artform was a truly beautiful sight to see.

The best part was seeing everyone having such a great time – laughing, snapping pictures, and just soaking in the sheer silliness. I mean, who knew that tutus had this power? There’s something truly magical about bringing people together!

Coutts Crossing, NSW, you’ve stolen a piece of my heart – you’re an inspiration! You’ve proven that a tutu can spark a celebration that’s all about fun and individuality. It’s definitely a reminder that you don't need a big stage to feel like a star. So, #tututuesday isn’t just about tutus – it’s about spreading joy, embracing the extraordinary, and most importantly, living life to the fullest!

But hey, this isn't just about Coutts Crossing, is it? It’s about that special something that happens when you embrace your unique style and put yourself out there, no matter what. Let’s keep the #tututuesday spirit alive in all our own cities and towns. Remember, even the most glamorous ballerina started somewhere, maybe even with a first little tutu step – I’m thinking Sydney Opera House dancers once started in their backyards with a bright, colourful tulle dress or a tutu they had hand-made by mum. What’s stopping you from starting a #tututuesday in your town?! It's just a tiny step to big joy.

So, get out there, embrace your inner dancer, and let's make the world a little bit brighter, one twirl at a time.

**Because, life's too short to not dance like you mean it! And if that means wearing a tutu… well, I’m here for it! **

Keep those tutus twirling and don't forget to share your #tututuesday adventures!
