I was scrolling through Instagram and was floored by the sheer amount of creativity. There were ladies rocking those classic romantic tutus, perfect for pirouette practice (and I mean, who doesn't dream of pirouette practice, right?). There were tutus of all colours imaginable – vibrant pinks and purples, soft pastels, even bold blacks. They paired them with everything – sneakers for a sporty vibe, chic boots for a touch of grunge, or even heels for a more sophisticated look.

I saw romantic tutus, sleek contemporary pieces, even tutus adorned with feathers! It was truly breathtaking! The energy of the crowd was electric. They cheered, clapped, and even joined in for a few twirls. This isn’t a surprise though. Canadians love their dance. With everything from the Canada National Ballet, to dance companies in Vancouver, Toronto, Calgary, and Montreal – the tradition is alive and thriving! It was a beautiful display of grace and joy – the epitome of what #TutuTuesday is all about.
