Get ready to unleash your inner prima ballerina! At 10 am sharp, we'll be having a Tutu Parade starting from the Lambton Shores Town Square. Everyone is welcome – young and old, professional dancers, or simply those who want to twirl with glee!

Think everything from classic romantic tutus – billowing layers of tulle with delicate floral embellishments, perfect for channeling a graceful ballerina – to sassy modern tutus made with innovative fabrics like sequins and shimmering metallics. Whether you're embracing the elegance of the past or channeling contemporary trends, let's celebrate every style!

Pro tip: Make sure your tutu has some movement and is light and airy – it's all about that Twirl-Factor, baby!

Feeling inspired to learn some new dance moves? From noon to 2 pm, we have a series of exciting workshops taking place at the Lambton Shores Cultural Centre. Whether you're interested in ballet basics, exploring new dance styles, or learning how to create a magnificent Tutu from scratch, there's a workshop for everyone! And did I mention they're free to attend?

Oh, and don't worry about feeling self-conscious! Everyone is welcome. Even if you're a total newbie, these workshops will have you stepping up your Tutu game in no time. And who knows, you might even discover a hidden talent!

Remember to grab some refreshments after your workshop at our delightful Tea and Tutu Time from 2 pm to 4 pm! Delicious refreshments will be served, accompanied by beautiful music and charming chat – it’s the perfect opportunity to share stories with fellow tutu enthusiasts!

Are you ready for a real treat? At 7 pm, we're going to have a grand Tutu Fashion Show! This is going to be an event that you don’t want to miss! Local designers are showcasing their stunning collections, blending classic elegance with contemporary fashion. Think breathtaking designs with feathers, shimmering crystals, and unique textile choices – and yes, the models are pro ballet dancers (including yours truly!). The entire evening will be dedicated to showcasing the evolution of the tutu – how this beautiful garment has become more than a stage costume. It’s now a statement piece celebrating our personal style.

It's amazing to see so much passion and creativity flourishing within our dance communities across the country, from our national ballet companies to the local community studios. It truly inspires me!
