Tutu Tuesday in The Blue Mountains, Ontario, Canada #tututuesday

Hey everyone! It's your girl, Claire, back with another #tututuesday post, and this time I'm bringing the tutu love to the picturesque Blue Mountains of Ontario. Seriously, you guys, this place is breathtaking! The rolling hills, the fresh air, the cozy charm - it's like stepping into a postcard. And you know what pairs perfectly with a picturesque setting? A killer tutu, duh!

Now, I'm all about versatility when it comes to tutus, because let's be real, you can't just rock a classic romantic tutu everywhere you go (though I would if I could!). This trip, I decided to go with a few different styles that would match the different activities I had planned.

  • Classic Romantic Tutu: This timeless piece was perfect for a stroll down the charming Main Street in Blue Mountain Village. It’s a short, layered tulle skirt that swishes with every step, making it look ethereal and whimsical - totally fitting for a fairytale-esque setting! Think graceful ballerina vibes in a pastel hue, maybe with a delicate floral print.
  • Modern Tulle Skirt: A more practical yet equally stylish option. I paired this with a simple white T-shirt and comfy sneakers for a hike on the Bruce Trail. It’s all about finding that sweet spot between performance wear and streetwear – a perfect blend of function and fashion. Look for a black, grey, or charcoal colour – versatile and a nice change from the classic pinks and whites.
  • Layered Tutu Skirt: Oh, this one's my favourite. It adds a little drama to your everyday look, even with jeans and a simple sweater. This one I picked out to wear to a lovely craft beer brewery (yes, it's possible to drink craft beer and wear a tutu – no judgment!). I went with a vibrant, jewel-tone hue for this one. So sassy! The longer the layering the better, like a layered cake of tutus!

Honestly, the possibilities with tutus are endless. You don't need to be a ballerina to embrace the tutu-ific world! You can wear it anywhere, anytime – whether you're dancing at the ballet studio, enjoying a picnic at a scenic lookout, or grabbing a coffee with your friends.

One of the highlights of my trip was taking a dance class at the gorgeous "Dancers on the Mountain" studio. They have a breathtaking view of the mountains and a super welcoming vibe – talk about a dream studio location! They had everything from barre classes to jazz, so there was something for every dance lover out there.

The best part? They were totally down for #tututuesday – my fellow dancers even joined in on the tutu fun. You guys should have seen the laughter, the pirouettes, and the overall good vibes – it was absolutely electric. And you know what, it doesn't matter if you're a seasoned ballerina or just starting out, the joy of dancing is something we can all share.

As always, you guys can find more photos and outfit details on my Instagram, where I post regularly. Let me know if you've been to the Blue Mountains or have a favourite tutu style. Also, tag your #tututuesday pics so we can see them. Now go forth and be bold!
