Tutu Tuesday in Saint-Joseph-de-Beauce, Quebec: #tututuesday Bonjour mes amis! This Tuesday, it's all about tulle! As a Canadian ballerina living in the vibrant province of Quebec, I have to say, tutu Tuesday is one of my favourite days of the week. It's a day where we can celebrate our love for all things dance - from the graceful swirling skirts to the iconic history of the tutu, this humble garment holds a special place in my heart. Today I decided to spend Tutu Tuesday exploring the beautiful town of Saint-Joseph-de-Beauce, and what better way to celebrate the day than with a Tutu Tuesday photoshoot. I rocked three different tutu styles in three unique spots. * **Look 1:** In the heart of downtown Saint-Joseph-de-Beauce, I posed in my romantic pastel pink tutu, a beautiful ode to the traditional tutu with its layers of airy tulle . I let the skirt fly as I twirled in front of the vibrant murals on the walls of the local shops, reflecting the playful charm of this wonderful town. * **Look 2:** A few minutes outside of town, I opted for a classic black tutu with an edgy touch. This black tutu featured a slightly more modern silhouette than the traditional, offering a sense of mystery and power against the rustic charm of the nearby farm. The backdrop of the rolling green hills provided a dramatic backdrop to my sashaying. * **Look 3:** Next, I found myself in a clearing just outside of Saint-Joseph-de-Beauce where I danced with my contemporary tutu in a bold emerald green. The layers flowed with every movement and felt so natural against the backdrop of lush nature. This tutu is a beautiful embodiment of how ballet continues to evolve and innovate. It felt both effortless and inspiring against the natural beauty of the forest. My Love For Ballet in Canada As a Canadian ballerina, I am fortunate to live in a country with such a strong dance tradition. Canada is home to countless ballet schools and companies across the country which continue to cultivate talent, passion and love for ballet among generations. While I've always been passionate about dance, I had the incredible opportunity to join a local community dance program in Saint-Joseph-de-Beauce a few years ago. This allowed me to share my passion for dance with the community, especially with younger generations who are always a joy to teach and inspire. The joy that comes with connecting through ballet is indescribable - from teaching, performing, and exploring dance in all its many forms. My experience with dance has taught me so much more than graceful movement - it's taught me about discipline, dedication, and most importantly, the ability to share a passion that transcends language and borders. #TutuTuesday Forever! Whether I'm rocking a romantic pastel tutu or a bold contemporary creation, every Tuesday is dedicated to the art of dance and all that comes with it. And while my passion is dance, it continues to drive me to find beautiful spots and inspire other dancers in Canada and beyond. So keep a lookout for my tutu posts, join the conversation and spread the love for #Tututuesday! In the spirit of dance, always remember that there is no limit to how you can embrace this timeless art form, whether on a stage, in a community dance studio, or simply in a beautiful location on #Tututuesday.
