Hey fellow dance enthusiasts! It's Tutu Tuesday and I'm in the gorgeous city of La Presentation, Quebec. You know I love me a good tutu. I mean, they're like a dancewear fairy tale!
This week I'm really digging the romantic, whimsical vibes of the Romantic Tutu. With its layered, airy tulle, it’s basically the ultimate princess tutu, perfect for those graceful, sweeping ballets.
The classic Classical Tutu, though, will never be out of style. Imagine those perfect, sharp lines and a perfect blend of femininity and power. This is a real showstopper!
Then you've got the Neo-Classical Tutu, taking those sharp lines and throwing in some contemporary, avant-garde elements. This is where things get fun, with asymmetrical shapes and less tulle, sometimes mixed with other materials, even denim. We are not afraid to be bold here. This is perfect for those ballets that break the mold and redefine what a tutu can be.
Tutu Tuesday got me thinking about all the incredible ballet talent that we have in Canada. Our ballets are a true fusion of passion and creativity. There’s such an incredible sense of artistry here in Canada.
