Today, we're venturing out of the studio and into the heart of Sainte-Brigitte-de-Laval, Quebec, to celebrate the beautiful fusion of dance and fashion. You might think tutus are just for the stage, but let me tell you, they're making a serious comeback in the world of everyday style! My first stop was at the charming little boutique "Les Ballets de Laval," where they carry the most amazing selection of tutus you've ever seen! There were the classics, of course, like the traditional romantic tutu, billowing and ethereal. This kind of tutu is the staple of many ballet pieces like the famous 'Giselle,' the timeless classic that embodies the spirit of love and sorrow, with its elegant form. I also loved the playful "American Ballet Theatre tutu." With a vibrant colour palette and playful layered skirts, it reminded me of the contemporary style that often takes over Canadian dance scenes, injecting a bit of personality into ballet.
