The day was all about embracing the freedom and creativity of ballet. I started my morning with a sunrise yoga session, letting the tranquility of the surrounding nature fuel my soul and prepare me for a day filled with graceful moves.
As I stepped into my favourite tutu, a classic, multi-layered tulle design that danced in the soft morning breeze, I couldn't help but feel a sense of nostalgia. This wasn't just any tutu; it was a reminder of the countless hours I spent training in the studios of Montreal, perfecting my technique, and chasing my dream of becoming a ballerina. Every stitch, every layer, carried memories of sweat, dedication, and the pure joy of moving to the rhythm of music.
For my Tutu Tuesday look, I decided to go for a mix of classic and modern style. The elegant tutu was paired with a crisp white, off-the-shoulder blouse and chic, pointed-toe flats for a contemporary touch. As the afternoon sun began to cast long shadows, I made my way to Café Champêtre, a charming bistro renowned for its delectable treats and warm hospitality. This café embodied the essence of the quaint town - cosy, welcoming, and a place where you can lose track of time chatting with locals and enjoying life’s simple pleasures. I indulged in a slice of their famous pumpkin pie, its sweetness mirroring the joy I felt on this incredible Tutu Tuesday.
