Crowsnest Pass, Alberta #tututuesday
Hey everyone! It's your girl, Nadia here, bringing you the latest and greatest from the world of dance and fashion. It's Tutu Tuesday, and today I'm in Crowsnest Pass, Alberta, channeling my inner ballerina with a tutu that's fit for a queen (or at least, a queen of the dance floor!).
For those of you who are new to the world of Tutu Tuesday, let me give you a quick rundown. This weekly tradition has been sweeping the nation, from Toronto to Vancouver. Every Tuesday, dance enthusiasts across Canada and beyond don their tutus and twirl with pride. It's a celebration of dance, self-expression, and all things tutus. I'm always on the lookout for new ways to style my tutus, and today I'm going for a look that's both elegant and edgy. Let's face it: even a Canadian girl knows that a classic tutu in a classic pale pink hue with that quintessential romantic tulle can't be beat! It's feminine and fun - a definite timeless favourite!
I'm starting with my foundation, the classic ballet-inspired tutus, a piece of fabric art with tiers of beautiful, billowing, layered tulle. The fabric flows as I move and really gives my ensemble that quintessential ballet vibe, that ethereal air.
And how do we accessorize our Tutu Tuesday ensembles in the mountains? Today, I'm layering on a comfy knit cardigan and leather jacket for a touch of warmth and mountain-girl flair. The layering lets the romantic pink pop! I love this classic colour and know that the combination will keep my outfit looking fresh, sophisticated, and just plain amazing! You know a gal can't stay too warm during her Tuesday morning run with the Rockies as a backdrop. So we accessorize!
As a Canadian dancer, I have to represent for the maple leaf! For today's #tututuesday post I'm rocking my Canada-inspired knee-high boots for some serious #fashionista cred. These babies are perfect for both ballet and everyday wear - super comfy, super chic, and totally Canadian!
Of course, no tutu ensemble is complete without a statement pair of earrings. My pick today: a sparkling set with classic studs in swarovski crystals that add some glitz and glamor! You know - because diamonds ARE a girls' best friend. Sparkles make you happy!
As for makeup, I'm keeping it simple and classic - just a touch of blush and mascara to enhance my natural features.
