This Tutu Tuesday feels like we need some serious tutu inspo! It’s a big day in the ballet world here in Headingley and across Canada. The season is finally upon us and it’s time to celebrate those classic tutus!
My outfit this #tututuesday? Classic, chic, and with just a dash of playful flair. The most essential item – the tutu, obviously! We all know about the Romantic tutu, with its gauzy layers of tulle, flowing and airy, it’s the epitome of ballerina grace. For my look today, though, I opted for a more modern approach – a tutu with an exciting geometric silhouette. Just think, short and fitted, a structured tutu that says “I’m confident, bold and not afraid to dance in my own style.” Plus, let’s be honest, this tutu moves as beautifully as the classics while leaving a little more leg to show off the cute leg warmers I'm rocking today. We gotta embrace that Canadian weather, ya know! And a ballerina gotta be stylish!

- Then, there’s the **Classical tutu**, that graceful, sweeping and oh so traditionally perfect for any dancer’s performance wardrobe! It's simply iconic.
- Now, there's nothing that exudes powerful modern energy more than the **Bell tutu** . These styles often include tulle bells that go all the way around the skirt - stunning, but maybe not the easiest to do some elaborate jetés!
