Well, let me tell you, folks, there's a growing movement in Burns Lake, British Columbia, a small town nestled in the Canadian wilderness, where people are embracing the magic of dance. It's a beautiful thing to see. A group of passionate dance lovers came together, and I’m so proud to be a part of this, to bring a little bit of sparkle to their town with Tutu Tuesday.
What is Tutu Tuesday you ask? It's an inspired celebration, dedicated to celebrating all things dance - from ballet to hip-hop, modern to jazz - where people dress in tutus to show their love for dance.
Let’s get down to the nitty gritty - The Tutu Game! Now, we can’t talk about Tutu Tuesday without talking about the stars of the show - the tutus. The group in Burns Lake had a real focus on showcasing variety. We saw everything from classic, romantically layered tutus that wouldn't be out of place at the Bolshoi - think soft layers of tulle and elegant satin accents - to fun and flirty ones, with playful colour schemes and bold, bright tulle.
