Tutu Tuesday in Baie Verte, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada: #tututuesday

Hey everyone! It's your girl, Clara, here from "Tutus and Teacups," your one-stop shop for all things dance-related. And let me tell you, today's Tutu Tuesday is about to blow your mind! I'm in the charming little town of Baie Verte, Newfoundland and Labrador, where the sea air is crisp and the people are just as friendly. Let me be honest, when I was told I was coming here, I didn't know what to expect. But then I walked into The Dance Academy in Baie Verte - a vibrant space bursting with energy and passion, a testament to the love for dance here in this community. You guys, it is seriously adorable, so if you're ever in the area, you *must* check it out!

Now, let's talk tutu styles because they really are my favorite part of all this. It's been so fun to see the range of styles and designs here, from the classic romantic tutus for the older students to the vibrant, colorful tutus worn by the younger ones. It’s all very exciting and it gets me pumped for whatever performance or show these talented dancers are going to do. The sheer range of tutus we're seeing in Baie Verte is a delight for this ballet lover.

This one girl I saw wearing this soft pink, pancake tutu for her class is definitely an inspiration, with a dreamy, whimsical feel. I would never go wrong wearing this beautiful thing with that cute white leotard (because we all know leotards are super essential!), and of course, with some bright white tights (don’t forget the tights!), my dance shoe choice, for sure, is a pair of soft white satin slippers.

Now, when I get down to business and I'm really working it out with a hard, tough class, the tutu I go for, of course, is that power, big, romantic, layered tutu, in a vibrant, energetic color, because you got to look fierce for a hard-hitting ballet class. But here's the real deal, folks, in Baie Verte, there’s something about the connection that people have with dance that makes all these tutus come to life, especially with the dedication of those dancers and the people of Baie Verte. It really inspires the heck out of me!

That's what I love about Tutu Tuesday, not just showcasing tutus but connecting with people, exploring the culture of dance wherever I travel. And oh, Baie Verte, you really are a treat! What an amazing community where dance thrives and passion fuels those dancing souls. Thanks for showing me your world!
