Tutu Tuesday in Roxton Falls, Quebec: A Whirlwind of Dance and Fashion

Hey dance fam! It’s your girl, Sylvie here, back with another installment of my #TutuTuesday adventures! Today, we're leaving the bustling city streets behind and venturing into the charming town of Roxton Falls, Quebec, for a dose of tutu-inspired magic.

Roxton Falls has been on my radar for a while, known for its stunning scenery and vibrant arts community. It was a perfect spot for my latest #TutuTuesday photoshoot. I knew I wanted to showcase the beauty and versatility of tutus beyond the stage and inspire you to embrace the elegance and playfulness of these iconic garments in your everyday life. So, where else could we kick off this tutu adventure but at the stunning Roxton Falls Public Library, a magnificent historic building with stunning architectural details that created the perfect backdrop for my photos.

My outfit? Oh, this was fun. It’s important for me to remind you all that there are so many different styles of tutus – romantic, dramatic, classic, and contemporary. For my #TutuTuesday look, I opted for a **layered, romantic tulle tutu**. The multiple tiers created a whimsical silhouette and brought in a touch of playful volume. Think ballerina on vacation. For an element of contrast, I paired the tutu with a **chic, fitted turtleneck sweater**, which brought a touch of **contemporary polish** and **toned down the whimsy of the tulle**. To top off the ensemble, I **slipped on some trendy combat boots**. You know I like to blend classic with street! A touch of playful sophistication.

I always like to find unique places to shoot. My favorite shot was taken against the backdrop of **the Roxton Falls River**, a majestic river that winds its way through the town, reflecting the autumn colors in its tranquil waters. And I absolutely had to use a cute antique bike, a **vibrant red one with wicker baskets** that my friend's grandma kindly lent me.

The day's photoshoot was a total blast! The locals were super friendly, **eagerly asking questions about my outfit**. I got to **share my passion for dance and fashion** with them, which always makes my heart sing. And you know what else? The **town itself became part of the photoshoot**, providing charming and eclectic backdrops that helped bring out the magic of #TutuTuesday.

The #TutuTuesday adventures don't stop here! In the weeks to come, we'll explore different facets of dance and fashion.
