Now, Sainte-Henedine may not be known for its ballet scene, but trust me, there's a hidden ballet heart beating under its quaint charm. As a dancer myself, I can't help but get excited whenever I spot a fellow tutu enthusiast out in the wild. It's like a silent, graceful greeting. And what better day for a tutu-spotting adventure than Tutu Tuesday, right?
I set off for my journey, my trusty ballerina flats treading the cobblestones of Sainte-Henedine. And let me tell you, this town is a sight for sore eyes. Imagine charming little shops lining streets bathed in the warm glow of the afternoon sun, all under the backdrop of the majestic Quebec countryside. How beautiful.
As my little tutu tour continued, I discovered some hidden treasures. A few families with adorable children decked out in the sweetest miniature tutus and a lovely little grandmother in a black tutu (talk about elegance!), but there was no denying my favourite find. A local café, the "Coffee and Dreams" was holding a tutu-themed art exhibition. The walls were adorned with whimsical drawings, paintings, and even sculptures featuring the beloved dance garment! Now that’s the kind of creativity I love.
