And what better way to kick off this week than with a big ol' #TutuTuesday celebration right here in Air Ronge, Saskatchewan? This is Canada's hidden gem for a reason! The energy is buzzing, the air is fresh, and oh boy, let me tell you, I’m feeling the *love* for these classic tutus.
Now, I know what you're thinking: "Tututuesday? Is this really a thing?" Well, believe me, it's a thing! I mean, come on! Who doesn’t love a good tulle extravaganza? Every Tuesday, I celebrate the iconic beauty and artistic freedom of ballet - from the iconic Romantic tutu to the more modern-day, deconstructed styles that have graced the stage.
But let's face it: Ballet isn't just for the stage. We can celebrate this majestic art form in all corners of our lives! So I thought to myself, "Why not put on my fave tutu, hop on over to Air Ronge and give everyone a dose of the Ballet Love?"

I know I may be bias, because I've spent a good deal of my life here – but the genuineness, the openness, the incredible sense of humour. In Saskatchewan and Air Ronge in particular, you’ll always find a warm welcome and friendly conversations! Let’s face it, that warm sense of belonging is like a warm hug from a good old tutu.
- Embrace of Nature: There’s a wildness and raw beauty here! We aren’t afraid of a little sunshine or snow – in fact we love it! Being in the wild, and finding time for adventures in nature just adds a spark of inspiration for a great #TutuTuesday. So Air Ronge’s backdrop - with the sparkling Lake La Ronge - well it really does give your Tutu Tuesday the ultimate outdoor fashion show backdrop. Air Ronge has this awesome artistic vibe – so Tutu Tuesday was truly inspiring for this ballerina! What’s so awesome about this Canadian gem, well everyone really wants to support local talent! It made me really feel like part of the fabric of this cool little community. And there are plenty of unique local boutiques with all those gorgeous handcrafted garments that you won’t find anywhere else, from art studios, coffee shops to trendy gift stores and local artist collectives!
But this is the best part – there is always that extra special magic in the air on a #TutuTuesday - a reminder to step outside your comfort zone. Think about trying something new, and I am all about trying different styles and pushing the boundaries of my creativity. Just like every little dancer here, we are just trying to find our personal expression, a unique voice, whether we are taking centre stage, or just trying to stay true to ourselves!
