The air was buzzing with excitement, a delightful mixture of tulle and laughter, as dancers and dance lovers descended upon Hove's elegant streets for this quirky celebration.
Now, let’s get one thing straight, Tutu Tuesdays aren’t just about throwing on any old tutu and calling it a day. It’s an art form, a flamboyant expression of joy. The key is to embrace the drama, the flair, the utter fabulousness of this tulle-tastic event! We’re talking:
- Whimsical tutus - Imagine a ballet tutu spun from a fairytale, adorned with sparkly embellishments and a puff of feathers - those were the showstoppers today.

It started last year as a tiny experiment in their local community centre - imagine a group of like-minded tutu-lovers, giggling and swirling around. Well, the buzz quickly spread, and Hove embraced the joyous absurdity with open arms, turning Tutu Tuesday into an all-out festival. This year, it went beyond local, it went viral, attracting people from across Sussex and beyond.
Hove was transformed into a delightful tableau of frills and flounces, an electric dance party under the azure sky.
