Tutu Tuesday in Morden

Hello darlings, it's your favourite tutu-loving, ballet-obsessed blogger back with another instalment of all things dance and fashion. This week, I'm bringing you straight from the heart of #Tututuesday in Morden, where the streets are literally alive with the sound of (and sight of) twirling!

Let's be honest, London has it all: iconic landmarks, bustling markets, world-class theatre, and even its own tutu havens! Yes, you heard that right, even us seasoned tutu connoisseurs need a special spot for our tutus, a place that understands our need for endless options.

Morden is where it's at. And by "it" I mean tulle galore. It's not just any tutu though, my lovelies, think classic romantic ballet and all its glory. You've got your quintessential **layered tulle tutus** (perfect for those swan lake dreams, of course), your **feathery, delicate tutus** that will make you feel like a delicate fairy, and of course, you cannot forget those **short, bouncy tutus**, perfect for those playful, contemporary vibes.

There's this adorable shop, tucked away on a charming side street called "The Dancing Swan." It's like a portal to the world of ballet and beyond. Think vintage tutus, custom-made tutus, tutus for any age and size. They've even got some of the **new-style tutus,** those that are super comfy and functional, perfect for a daily class (imagine my delight!). But honestly, this place is all about the atmosphere - the staff are knowledgeable and incredibly helpful (they actually helped me find a perfect vintage tutu for my last performance). This place is definitely where I get my dose of Tutu Tuesday inspiration.

But the day doesn't end there. Now, we're talking **real #Tututuesday activities, the ones you have to experience**. We headed over to the local Morden library, which holds dance workshops for children every Wednesday. Imagine the cutest little tutus twirling about. I almost teared up. They even have adult ballet classes - guess who signed up? You know it's me!

Morden Market, oh my, Morden Market. The vibrancy and charm of this place was a perfect fit for my #Tututuesday. And did I tell you about the "Tutu Challenge" the market had? Everyone who showed up in their favorite tutus received a discount on fresh flowers - Talk about perfect for that impromptu tutu photoshoot (I did, naturally, #tututuesday always has to have photos!).

I must admit, I was utterly surprised by the warmth and welcome of the community. They’ve even got a group that gathers for a tutu tea party every other week – can you imagine all the gorgeous tutus in one space! Who needs high tea, honestly? We're bringing back tutu tea!

But don't worry if Morden's not your cup of tea (or your tulle). The beauty of #tututuesday is it's everywhere. Just head to a park, the nearest café or even your own living room. It's about celebrating the tutu, embracing your inner dancer and spreading some sparkle in our daily routine. It’s about rediscovering the magic of a good twirl.

Remember, my lovely #tututuesday enthusiasts, the world is your dance floor. Go out there, twirl like you've never twirled before. It's not about perfection, it's about the joy, the confidence and the sheer joy of a tutu!

I'm off to practice for my new ballet class – you know, a little pre-lesson #tututuesday warm up – but stay tuned. More tutu tales to come next week.
