Westhoughton, a tutu haven for Tutu Tuesday

Hello darlings! It’s me, Chloe, the self-proclaimed ‘Queen of Tutu Tuesdays’ (don’t judge - my friends call me this!). Let me take you through a day of fabulous in my little corner of Lancashire.

You know how much I adore the iconic tutu, and Tuesday’s just happen to be a special occasion for us tutu lovers! Now, some of you might think ‘tutus - are they only for ballerinas?’ but that’s where you'd be SO WRONG, my darlings! Tutus are all about embracing the graceful, the whimsical, the effortlessly chic. They’re for anyone with a bit of playful spirit!

Westhoughton, our lovely town, just seems to radiate that ‘tutu’ energy, and it really shines on Tuesdays. Imagine it - cute cafes, friendly shops, people out and about, all with a touch of tutued charm!

I decided to try out my new **lavender-hued** ‘floating tutu’. You know, that delicate layered fabric that looks like a fluffy dream? I teamed it with a white cami and some classic Converse - comfy but still totally glam. Let’s be real, my darlings, comfort and style are a winning combination!

Now, my journey to tutu bliss began with my usual pit-stop at “The Sweet Tooth,” a hidden gem in the heart of Westhoughton, and a totally-underrated pastry heaven! It's the place to go for decadent cupcakes, and they even have a 'Tutu Tuesdays’ offer - you buy one cupcake, get the next one free if you’re rocking a tutu (who needs an excuse, right? - just a bonus!)

And yes, they even let me bring my darling dog, Beau, for the ‘Sweet Tooth’ special! He always makes everyone smile in his adorable **fluffy tutu**, especially when he goes for a graceful twirl to earn a paw-some treat!

Speaking of ‘tutu-ing around’ - we then visited ‘The Little Button’ shop, this adorable independent haven of beautiful, curated vintage clothes. I snagged myself a gorgeous silk scarf to pair with my tutu, just a pop of colour and elegance. They really do have some unique finds for anyone who dares to be bold with a touch of whimsy.

My #TutuTuesday adventure took us through ‘The Market Square,’ where there’s always a vibrant buzz going on! And here's the best part - there’s a stall dedicated to the lovely 'The Vintage Hat Lady,’ selling tutus for every occasion (she's my Tutu Twin!!). She helped me pick a perfect, shimmering, pink tutu for my next birthday outfit.

And let’s be honest - the entire town of Westhoughton seems to join in the #TutuTuesday fun. We even saw a little girl dressed as a **miniature princess ballerina** with her tiny pink tutu and tiara. It’s these simple joys that just make me so happy! And who knows, maybe I’ve inspired a new generation of tutu-loving ‘Westhoughton Tutu Trendsetters! (You heard it here first, my darlings.)

It really doesn't matter if it's a simple tutu or a flamboyant, elaborate one, what really matters is wearing your tutu with confidence! If you embrace it, your ‘tutu’ look will reflect your unique style and personality!
